The Protector of Souls

Called the Protector of Souls, or the Watcher of Death, the Raven Queen is a mysterious entity who resides within the Shadowfell and is thought to be one of the only two people to ascend to godhood and gain a Divine Spark as a mortal. With the other being Vecna. Depicted as a feminine figure with a long black feathered hooded cloak, a porcelain mask, and a gold tiara, the Queen spends her days within the Fortress of Memories watching over the souls of those who have passed and now make their way on to the afterlife.

Tenets of Faith

The Raven Queen is trapped by her fascination with the past. She sits in her fortress, amidst all the memories of the world, looking at the ones that please her almost as though they were glittering jewels. Many great wizards have attempted to understand her motives, but like a raven she has always remained cryptic, keeping her cache of secrets just out of their reach. The Queen sends Shadar-Kai emissaries out into the world to collect memories for her, preferring those that belong to beings that would otherwise be forgotten without her. 
Clerics of the Raven Queen typically wear vestments of dark grey and red, with many taking up positions watching over graveyards and ensuring the lines between life and death stay clear of those who would corrupt it.  
Only a few true temples to her dot the world, with most preferring to build shrines to her within cemeteries to keep her nearby when someone's passing needs easing.
