Seekers of the Shadowed Path
Founded in the City State of Cyri, the Seekers of the Shadowed Path or just the Seekers are overseen by the Minister of Observation and focus on protecting the intellectual projects within the city, assassinating those who would mean Cyri harm, and seek out long lost information from the Oranak Empire before others can.
Structure
The Seekers of the Shadowed Path while led by the Minister of Observation, the minister doesn't spend every day within the fort leaving the day-to-day operations to one of the deputy ministers. Underneath the deputy are the Master Biomancer, Master Artificer, Knight Commander, and the Master of the Weave. These four oversee the training and implementation of new practices to the four main sections of the Seekers. They also decide how teams are formed and who would fit best together when a job calls for multiple seekers. The group as a whole has roughly between 80-90 members at any given time split between the four sections. While there is no true uniform for the Seekers, they can identify one another while on jobs via the symbol of a candle in a circle or the call and response "Out of the darkness we bring the light", followed by "Careful of the light I hear it burns."
The biomancers having come from the Arcanum Imperium, are organized in a similar fashion. At the top is a Master Biomancer, below them are two maguses, followed by six journeymen, and four acolytes. The Master Biomancer has been given the authority to recruit new members for the seekers when needed from the Arcanum. They stay within the fort, working on the Korcotus plant, and ensuring the knights and monks are able to perform their duties with ease.
The artificers are organized in the same way with a few changes given some have to go out into the field. The Master Artificer and maguses stay within the fort, while the lower levels are sent out on jobs, mainly using their rift abilities to steal or plant information and aid in the movement of the other members of the Seekers. They are also in charge of training Echo Knights in the proper use, crafting, and modifying of firearms.
The Echo Knights use the same organizational structure as the Emperors Guard. At the top is the Knight Commander, followed by two captains who oversee the training of knights and guard shifts for the fort. Under them are the lieutenants, then sergeants, and finally privates. The knights run the security for the entire fort, with those who man the walls being given emperor guard uniforms, armor, and weaponry. Knights who are sent out on missions can choose to wear any form of armor and have no official uniform. All are taught how to use firearms and tend to the weaponry, they are focused on assassinations using their echoes to ensure no target is left alive. They are made up of those who are born into the organization, soldiers from The Emperors Guard, and volunteers who answered the cryptic calls of aid in arcane experiments.
The Weave Monks have a loose organizational structure, given their practices require them to have a greater understanding of arcanum than most monks they tend to spend as much time training with one another as they do with the artificers and biomancers ensuring they have a full understanding of what their powers entail. While there is a Master of the Weave at the top that oversees the training of the monks their position is voted upon by the rest of the group. The monks are made up of a mixed group of criminals, those who were born into the organization, and volunteers who answered the cryptic calls of aid in arcane experiments. They are tasked with infiltration, spying, and jobs that require a member to go undercover.

Culture
Within the Seekers there is a distinct yet unspoken hierarchy, Biomancers and Artificers are treated with the respect of great mages. The artificers are also team leaders when a job calls for a larger group. Echo knights come in second as they are the group's martial backbone and have kept many safe through their powers. Finally, while not treated poorly, the monks who sit within their ranks would note that they are treated more like younger brothers than respected and capable members of the Seekers.
Public Agenda
The public has only heard whispers about the organization, seeing it more as a boogie man rather than an actual arm of the Cyri government. Rumors abound that the Seekers are made up of not volunteers but actually criminals who the powers that be believed could be put to better use within the fabled fortresses' halls.
If one were to stumble upon Fort Clarus one would see that it has been decorated and designed to look like an outpost for The Emperors Guard and be welcomed to rest for the evening within it should they need it.
The Seekers themselves know that they are sent on missions to protect the interests of Cyri and keep its people safe. Given their remote location on Alamas Peak, they can keep an eye on the city-state and use the minor ley line, Sorceresses Wit, to their advantage.

Assets
Within Fort Clarus, the group has training grounds for the knights and monks, arcane labs for the artificers, a tower for the biomancers, barracks for the martial types, rooms for the leaders, stables, and a basement space that holds an armory, growing space for Korcotus, and an infirmary to work on the Seekers.
They have access to a minor ley line and use it to aid in their experiments in honing the skills of the knights and monks.

History
Founded in the year 846 ACW after the Grandmagus of the Arcanum Imperium was found to be trying to fuze with the Cerberus core The Silver Circle felt it was imperative to keep an eye on the goings on in the Planar Tower and the Minister of Observation set about training Biomancers to act as double agents for Cyri. Over time the needs of the organization and the city as a whole expanded, with them wanting not just to keep an eye on the Arcanum but also to keep others out. By the year 855, they had added the artificer section of the organization, after having stolen the information on how to make rifts from the Order of the Etherial Brotherhood. Together the artificers and biomancers worked to make the echo knights using magics and practices unknown to the world. Finally, in 875 ACW they added the monks known as Weave Monks, having found ways to induce a better connection to the inherent magic of the world via their study of echo knights and the ley lines.
The Seekers have excelled at keeping their goings-on secret from the outside world for the most part, it wasn't until the War of Red Waters and a team of Seekers where caught trying to steal information from Veaserian troops that the region even realized there were strange things happening within the Infernal Mountains. Now in the year 980 ACW they have garnered a reputation as a group of ghosts who seek to steal and kill all in the name of the City State of Cyri.
