War of Red Waters
In the year 960 ACW, the Kingdom of Veaser launched its second attack on the southern region of the Lost Empire in an attempt to take the lands for themselves. The war lasted for four years and saw the soldiers of the Emperors Guard fight off the Veasarian forces leading to the liberation of the town of Bearth. Once the war had ended a treaty was signed between the kingdom and powerful members of the Lost Empire, agreeing to not go to war over the lands for at least a century.
It was deemed the bloodiest war the region had seen in 500 years, the effects of which are still felt now twenty years later. The war's name came from the amount of carnage that the battles created causing the waters of the Oaksby River to turn red for the final year and a half of the war.
