Personal history

Mendar served as the medical The Eyes aboard Forlorn Hope. It survived the reaper mutiny, and descended to Desemshia with the loyal Hop Kru.
It has strong disagreements with Mechanos. without Adomos to mediate they were unable to come to an agreement. The precise nature of the disagreement has been forgotten.  But it is safe to assume it was over the merits of living flesh against the might of cold machines. Mendar took his followers and fled north.
In the north he led the Cha'reh and Cha'gem against the Ra'datmu. Over time he became corrupted and is assumed lost in madness.
