Mekanos

The Eye of Building, Crafting, and Machines. He is The Eye that established the initial subterranean mining settlements that housed the crew after landing. These were temporarily depopulated after the founding of the Utopia dome cities. Eventually these abandoned mining settlements were repopulated as Sanctuary Cities.
MeKhanos rarely interacted directly with it's followers. It mostly communicated through machine plans and maintenance manuals distributed to its Mechano Priests. After a dispute with Mendar, Mekhanos withdrew deep into one of its underground settlements. There is fierce debate among Mekhano priests on how often it still communicates. Many Mekhano Priests have implemented new mechanic designs, or new maintenance procedures only for it to be later discovered to have been their own invention. They were punished for their impudent heresy. A select few devices and new procedures that have not been proven to be human invention leaves room for debate.
