Highcross
Entering the village of Ell from the Frisian side, you cross this large wooden bridge. It is the ideal location to collect tolls going to Argau or the Wetteran Stadts from Frisia in this location and vice versa. The waters o the Venlo Fluss are very strong this far up into the Highpeaks and the sound of the rapids flowing under the bridge is ever present.
