Ambassador Reiner Grumman hosted 70th birthday party from the exclusive Mayer-House hotel. The exclusive roof garden was host to over two hundred guests including former President Henderson Loke (GUR), AEA CEO Nurih Safin (IND) and Rep Piper Najimy (GUR).

Rep Najimy was seen by many as the "star" of the occasion, rubbing shoulders with a number of political and corporate heavyweights, further fuelling talk that she may run for President on the Gurava ticket in 2590. Reiner Grumman also spoke at length with former Senator Raina Tancredo (VE) and Governor Andrea Buckland (VE). There were also several Tranoan guests, including Lord Pessalia, a senior member of the Tranoan cabinet and Etallyian, a senior Tranoan ambassador.   Reiner Grumman, a former Senator and Foreign Secretary, has been a somewhat contreversial political figure and many people feel he had come very close to being elected President in 2560.
