Arete was a lobbying group that fought corruption in The Terran Republic.

Platform

As per its mission statement, Arete's mission was to "combat political and corporate corruption and seek to promote political leaders who have the best interests of the Terran people, regardless of their partisan ideology." Neither investing House holds control over the group and the board of directors are independant appointees.

History

In the leadup to the 2590 Republic Election, the "Arete" lobbying group was founded in Dhaka City. The initial capital for its creation was provided in large part by House Solarin and some assistance from House Knottman.
