Battle of the Red Ford
The Battle of the Red Ford was a major battle in The Human Rebellion fought on the banks and in the Artis river, and is often considered to be the decisive engagement that led to the defeat of the Elven Realms. Notably, King Eleran of Lorintha was slain in the fighting and the bulk of the Lorinthan forces destroyed before the Halenthans withdrew from the field and retreated to the city of Skyreach.

The Engagement
The Alerian rebels conducted an assault on the lesser defended secondary crossing point of Adin's crossing, defeating the Lorinthan contigent guarding it and slaying King Eleran. Once Adin's crossing fell, the Alerians conducted an additional assault across the primary crossing point of the ford and assaulting the Halenthan main force head on, with the human force tasked with securing Adin's crossing hitting the Halenthans from the west. After the collapse of his left flank, King Valendil of Halentha ordered a withdrawal from the field, saving what he could of his army and riding for Skyreach.
