Alerio, the fallen Founding Emperor of the Imperial League is worshipped in every human nation, believed by many humans to have ascended to Godhood upon his death. Devout followers of Alerio, such as members of the Order of Alerio, believe that Humans owe allegiance to Alerio and Alerio alone, and that all other Gods can not be trusted to protect their followers. Some sects believe that devout followers of Alerio shall join him in his halls in the afterlife, whilst more agnostic sects do not believe humans ascend to the Realms of the Gods upon death.
