Ordo Communications Network

The Ordo Communications Network is a direct subsystem of the Ordo Gateway Network using the same points in space for connectivity. It is however reserved for communications only and has no gateway or ability to send anything physical from one point to another. It was an expansion of the Gateway network and added several hundred new nodes and access points to the system that in the end secured galaxy wide communication without the need of relays. This was one of the critical assets that would ensure the Ordo survived the era of the third Crusade allowing for long range communication on a closed network that was hidden to their enemies. Although based around the Gateway network the technology is much simpler, and, simply functions as a large relay system going from node to node.
