The Hour of Quanros
The Hour of Quanros was the first hour of The Schism. Quanros, The Pale Rider, was the first of The Horsemen to be released by Viskara, The Creator in their attempt to purge the world and start their design anew.
Quanros was released over the continent of Agoria and his initial ride caused the seperation of the continent into the now two existing continents of Aleshi and Merro. Agoria was devestated by the giant hooves of the Pale Rider's horse, splitting in two leaving a mass of rock and whirling sea that is still there today, forever breaking the once beautiful land.
Quanros didn't just stop at destroying a chunk of the land however, dismounting from his vile steed he began to scorch the earth, decimating the lush and beautiful landscape created by The Oasis of Sarene and turning it into an inhospitable desert bar the lands still blessed by the Oasis and it's multiple rivers.
Quanros turned his attention on the now seperated Merro and began to unleash his wrath and deathly gaze upon all the living beings of the new continent. He was stopped however, by a coalition of the Gods before he could destroy the entire landscape and make it as inhospitable as he had Aleshi. Quanros was sealed away back into The Four Quadrants of Abbadon until The Final Battle.
While Quanros did not completely ruin the landscape of Merro as he did Aleshi, it is theorised that his razing of the land is what led to the creation of the massive amounts of Blacksalt found under the earth. His abuse of the land led to the discovery of the item that would allow mortals to create firearms and other explosive ordinance. Could it then be stated, every person who died as the result of this new technology is in fact adding to the tally of Quanros.
The Hour of Quanros is the largest level of destruction in a short time the world of Orchellia has likely ever seen and ever will see. The once lush land of Agoria was split in two and the landscape devestated, 97% of living matter on the continent was wiped out in mere minutes. Destruction on a scale only achieveble by the leader of the riders of apocolypse.
