Blacksalt

Blacksalt is the unpure form of Blackpowder.

A rough, strong rock formed primarily in the deserts of Merro. Blacksalt was discovered as a result of The Hour of Quanros splitting Agoria in two. For centuries it was seen as a useless and dangerous mineral until around 690PS where its volatile purified form was discovered.

Blacksalt mines have made many people incredibly rich but often has negative effects on the miners as the salt enters their lungs and can burn them from the inside if they inhale too much. As such all those involved in the mining and transporting of raw Blacksalt wear enchanted breathing masks to purify the air.
