Session 21 - When Last We met - 1/9/23
General Summary
When last we met, The party set out from the Hopeful harbor. Their journey would have them make 3 stops.
The first was Mount Cashell, where after resupplying, the party investigated the Library of Academia, a deity of knowledge and law, there they did some scant research of what they could find on the Abyss and a demon lord known as Baphomet. Their conversation with the librarian was picked up by outside ears as they are approached by a robed figure before they leave town. He hands them a strange coin and says he would like to hear more of what they know when next they are in the city. Celeste identifies the symbols on the coin as belonging to a group known as The Faithful Dominion - a religious order and military organization thought long since disbanded. Tensi takes the coin and the party sets off on the second leg of their journey. To the village of Birchnod On the way their camp is ransacked by apparent spirits as they took their rest in Cairn Tuam, a place replete with ghostly sightings and latent paranormal energy. After that, they reach Birchnod and head straight for the Thorn's Nook Inn. To their surprise, they see it is still operational, bustling even. They enter the cozy public house and a woman behind the bar recognizes them and greets them warmly. It is Rebecca Thorn, Daughter of Atticus Thorn. She thanks them immensely for what they did in destroying the Banshee which took her father's life and offers them free lodgings at the inn whenever they are in Birchnod. The party inquires about investing in the tavern and entering a business partnership with Rebecca to which she accepts as they front 200gp as silent partners. From there, Tensi takes her new Lute for a spin.. to mixed results. But life goes on, and so too does the party as they make for the final leg of their journey - Tirasa. Just outside of the city gates, they are stopped and surrounded by a large force of Soldiers from the Elder Isle (They had seen more of these soldiers back at Mount Cashell) their leader, a pompous arrogant general by the looks of him says that they are having trouble getting into Tirasa and that if the party can get in and report what they find to him he will pay them handsomely, giving them a kind of advance to start. Tensi delivers a rejoinder that seems to have the Military leader rethink his strategy. He tells them he will be in Mount Cashell discussing governmental matters with the city council and they can find him there to deliver their report. After they take their leave of the batallion, they enter Tirasa with many plans and investigations afoot. And that's where we'll pick up next time!

Free Lodging at the Thorn's Nook Inn - Given as a reward by Rebecca Thorn for the party's help in killing the Banshee
Co-ownership of the Thorn's Nook Inn - Agreed upon by Rebecca, an initial investment of 200gp by the party entitled the party to monthly profits while away (as long as the inn is profitable)
200gp + 200sp - a "generous Gift" and totally not a bribe given by the Military commander from the Elder Isle for information on Tirasa

Corbin - A mysterious looking monk dressed in a dark red robe - Handed Tensi a mysterious coin and said to meet him at the Penitent Scholar tavern to tell him more about what they know on demons and the Abyss. Seems to belong to a long defunct religious order.
Rebecca Thorn - Daughter of the late Atticus Thorn. Offered free lodging for life as thanks for their heroic act. Entered into a business partnership with the party
Flint McKellan - Halfling hunter and Ranger. Very pleased to see the party again, kicked up more revelry
Elder Isle Military Commander - A proud and pompous peacock bribed the party for information on Tirasa. Will be in Mount Cashell till the end of the month.
