Salinmor
Viscounty of Salinmor, the lord in the Gresham area.
Structure
Feudal lands.
Demography and Population
This area is largely human, but contains significant halfling settlements as well. Elves and half-elves and gnomes are all common, and while dwarves are not, they live and work here in some numbers.
Territories
This basically consists of the area around Gresham, as far as the marshes to the south.
Military
Feudal, plus city guards and militias.
Foreign Relations
Like most of Elfheim, they avoid trouble as much as they can. Individuals may be involved in foreign wars, but the Viscount makes a point of staying neutral when it is possible.
Agriculture & Industry
Fishing, basic farming, sheep and goat herding, some cattle farming. Peat harvesting in and around the marshes.
Trade & Transport
Gresham contains a decent harbor, as do smaller towns like Saltmarsh. However, the sea is very treacherous to the southwest, which limits maritime travel to Lenay. The roads are decent, though, throughout Elfheim.
Education
There is a seminary, and a modest academy in Gresham. Otherwise very little higher education. There are schools in the towns, and church schools throughout the area.
Infrastructure
Good harbors in Gresham and other towns. Decent roads throughout Elfheim, though there are not many roads.
