Caric
These were a group of humans who came west, coming through the Brightlands and plains south of the Makeesa around 2000 BK. They occupied everything west of the Greatflood once, but were displaced by subsequent waves of Germanic barbarians. They settled then along the west coast, on Cape MArlana and parts of Wessex, in Oceanside and Lenay, and around the Viking Sea. They proved impossible to displace from there, though they were conquered by Germans and Anglos through the years. They have been absorbed into larger political structures, often losing their language, but they tend to retain much fo their independent identity. They are still very powerful in Lenay and western Wessex, under the rule of the kings.

Major language groups and dialects
They speak their own languages: Caric an analogue to Irish; Lenic to Scottish.
Culture and cultural heritage
They have what you could call a Celtic heritage, with most of the features thereof. They are musical, they are the originating culture for the idea of the Bard.
Major organizations
They are large populations in Wessex, Oceanside, Elfheim and Bayport. Lenics are one fo the dominant groups in Lenay. In Wessex and Elfheim, they retain good relations with elves; almost all of them retain good relations with halflings.
