Slug-bellied

As ryclins are unusually good hosts for Selmzi parasitic infestations, this article is mostly dedicated to their circumstances. However it can effect a diverse set of races, and has proven to be a small pandemic to some like labris.

Transmission & Vectors

Selmzi Parasite based infection. Often obtained in either bodies of natural water, or ingesting infected life. Alternatively some species may be a victim of Vyras tampering, and the selmzi dart administration.

Symptoms

• Abdominal swelling, or a gelatinous prey-belly
• Hunger
• Loss of acid (Ryclin)
• Burning pains / stings in the abdomen
• Rupturing organs / stomach / Occasional selmzi-fused outter tissue [Fatal end]

Mid-late stage labris infection. A developed selmzi gives her once toned belly a malleable blob texture & form, but no serious harm yet aside from hunger pangs to feed it. Feeding accelerates its growth, and she'll soon feel aches and pressure before bursting

Treatment

Injecting doses of certain plants that the selmzi will be forced, or tricked to intake. Most are allergic to certain floral elements. Pills and shots can be administered for the best effect. Otherwise, some forms of like select members of zeanites may contribute with uncommon handy abilities to alter lesser life forms without much agitation in the host.
