Selmzi Dart

Compacted in a tight tube, the Selmzi dart is much what the name suggests. Its a long tube with a sharp needle tip reinforced to even penetrate tough ryclin hide. Vyras most often use it, loading them with a water-incubated selmzi parasite, and unleashing it directly into the blood stream where it (usually) finds its way into the stomach to start an infestation within a new host. Depending on the delivery method, there is also a shock-driven stun cap to the tip, unleashing a paralyzing shock that most misunderstand to be its designed effect. Those without much understanding may become prone to a fatal Selmzi outbreak, but even those smart to catch it (or aware of the terroristic notions) will become greatly annoyed, need medicine on hand, and may lose a meal by the time they're aware of symptoms. The dart has been designed to either shoot, or jab into place.
