Plumpurr
A lioness-based role also often synonymous or considered a Pamperer or Pampurr, but not to be confused with a cuddler and is often more of their physical opposite despite working close to food. A late addition to lionkin harem social structures introduced with the literal and economical growth of food. It kicked in some centuries before The Lion Era, andis sometimes considered the rise in what some call the Great Felyran Feast. Lionesses of attractive worth and charisma were integrated into the harem with this title, and enabled to live mildly similar to breeders. They were close with the male, intimate, and would often bare kittens in successive intervals. However when not so busy mothering or heavily pregnant, they tended to the harem and would hype up and arrange for the bulk of their more relaxed harem-sisters to be fed.
With the continued rise and great increase in fast food, and import mechanisms, as well as even other species integrating and co-mingling, came a craveability and demand for more and more food. This slowly meant exporting lionkin themselves for food as well, rising even after The Lions Share assisted in redirecting hungry minds to harm-free alternatives. Yet even outside of meat, there was Cuddle Huddles, and species just becoming more open and fond of heavier lions like the tigirens who considered it a whole term of "pillowing" their lionkin wife. As such cuddling and cuddlers became more prideful, jolly, boasting, and lionkin overall were growing more gluttonous at a rapid rate in some regions. Plumpurrs were there to goad this on, encourage, measure, work with newer meal delivery systems, and cater to the harem instead of the manelord's constant cooking. This influx fed the cycle more, making lioness more addicted and heavier, and the demand for more quite steady to justify such a role.
In more unusual circumstances, such as a ryclin-lead harem, she may be a 'favorite' or preferred female to keep around for longer, likely a pawslovian with more appealing assets to the alien. She's a little 'in' on the plan, and is essentially feeding the harem so they can steadily feed the ryclin, while she or her peers are exempt. In other instances of a normal lion lord, the plumpurr may have gotten the job from sheer enthusiasm or pushing her way into the role, and has her own personal interest to also put pounds on the lord or serfs. Though there is some disparity here, as sometimes a lord accuses this of being the case while actually too weak in their own will to lay off the fast food hype.
Duties
- Arranging food and meal plans
- Hyping up community engagement, and meal times
- Acquiring alien visitors of flavorful worth, ranging from "dates" that become the dinner, willing qshoolum, or simple bakers and imported goods that have high reviews a lionkin can't replicate.
- Weighing/Tape-sizing other lionesses for progress
- Saving money on planned fast foods, or cost-effective takeout scheduling
- Ensuring orders are right for takeouts, and knowing the harem's favorites & dislikes.
- Occasionally, arranging tables or special party events
- Sometimes, even moderation goals are key, and ensuring a lioness isn't eating herself into an imlosion.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Often (but not in all cases) one is considered least qualified or removed if they ironically 'give into' their own hype and over-eat to an visibly abundant amount. This is because of numerous factors from how its 'unresponsible' for their use of resources, to the fact some lords often still want outsider titles to be on the leaner conventionally attractive side, or the fat lionesses are intended to be disposable to foreign diets and thus she might have set herself up. Other issues may arise if she more obviously just ends up being poor with words, hated by her inner harem community, or tends to pick catty fights with select individuals. A plumpurr must essentially be a smiling, jovial, and celebrational feline around her peers.
Cultural Significance
Its largely believed a greater origin of the weight-worth value that became mainstream in the Lion Era started mostly from Plumpurrs doing a progress check, and boosting the morale of cuddlers with it. Over time and profits, it was inevitable that these converged and became a standard rule for trading, forever making most lioness sales be valued by their weight first rather than the buyer/seller's opinions on her beauty or talents. Further on, the role and its elements just further nudged and cemented the Great Felyran Feast. Between a huge growth in Queen food places and Mice recreates, some BPC territorial advances, and Cuddle Huddle businesses, Plumpurrs stepped in and made sure nearly every harem did its part to fatten-up.
