Knumaris (new-ma-ris)
A planet about the same size as Earth, home to a Zeanite related species of shapeshifters. Much like Kronahai; the zeanite home world, its environments and nature are artificial. Unlike Kronahai, the planet lacks natural wildlife, instead all wildlife, including plants, even down to necessary insects, germs and fungus. Oceans, other bodies of water were made with the help of Zeane. most of the planet is built more akin to Earth's cities and towns.
It's home to the Knumarian species, a race that celebrates music and dance, and recently, theater and film production. In fact, Knumaris owns both the most popular music and film firms in both the Zeanite Empire and The UniSphere coalition.
Thanks in part to the planet's many breath taking yet bizarre architecture and knumarian made landscape art, Knumaris is a popular tour spot for many others even those from outside the coalition. Many races, including the Riffarians, Humans, Tikerins and the odd Tigiren , tend to setup their homes or shops there.
Despite being a sister species to the zeanites, Knumaris isn't a part of the Zeanite Empire, and isn't govern by the Empress & Empire's rules. As such, they lack a 'queen' and/or 'king' to as a head of state. Though, they are apart of the Ethearial Realm Alliance, along with Chiadelle, and other off-shoot planets and solar systems.
Geography
While the lanscape was mostly left as is in less populated and industrialized areas, many locaitons such as cities, towns and art settlements and vacation islands modified their environment, or rather in some cases, lack thereof, to more surreal or even pseudo-natural looking terrain. ranging from tropical oases to cyberpunk, steampunk, and highly futuristic towns and cities bathed in arterial light, weather and decor.
History
Around 3 and three quarter melenia ago, the planet was bought by one of Zeane's daughters from Tigiren for a large sum of Elasalium; a excruciatingly rare substance often used to spaceship with universal jump drives, and Niltherite; a rare crystal used for backup forcefield generators.
The barren lifeless planet was purchased and work had begun the following year. all in all, it was in a far better state than Kronahai was when it was first populated, which meant that for the daughter, it took far less effort.
