Notus
Notus is the Olympian Dynasty god of the south winds, who brings change and summer storms. He is the brother of both Boréas of the winter and Zephýros of the spring. All three brothers are said to be the children of Zeus and Gaia, conceived when the latter was mortal but born after she ascended to Mount Celestia.
Notus is said to have invented tornadoes, the devastating funnel-shaped storm clouds that rip across the Dovrian Plains, where he is much feared. However, places with much kinder southern winds—particularly ports like Undacítta, Enchalmida, and Urbana al-Sona—worship or idolize him as a minor god of growth and change.
Some Storm Giants revere the god Notus—though Giants, in general, are not known for their piety. Those who do have a deep rivalry with the worshippers of Boréas. Their third brother, Zephýros, is almost universally ignored by storm-giantkin.
