Esplanade of the Muses

The Esplanade of the Muses is a pleasure garden and ampitheater in the Cuarto Almaviva district of Cantonova. It was built by Farizan Selúndrion as a love letter to his wife Corra Selúndrion, a Cantonovan artist best known for her landscapes. It has remained a popular tourist destination during the warmer months ever since.

Architecture

The Esplanade of the Muses is built in the archetypal modern Cantonovan style, with numerous arches, bright and ornately detailed plasterwork surfaces, and grand domed tops to its gazebos and main amphitheater. There is an innovative system of enchanted aqueducts that draws saltwater up from the ocean, refines and purifies it, and uses it to water the plants growing along the elevated walkways that jut out well above the ground and even beyond the shore.

Tourism

The Esplanade is a popular tourist destination because of its stunning views and extraordinary selection of plants, some of which are otherwise only seen in remote parts of the Aquatic Kingdoms, never on the mainland.
