Charmed

Magical charm is a powerful tool that changes a person's sympathies and intentions. A creature who is charmed by a spell or effect from a creature regards the charmer as friendly, trustworthy, or even physically or sexually attractive.
When a charm effect is so strong that its subject is compelled to act exactly as its master wishes (as opposed to merely influenced to act favorably to its master), it is known as domination.

Causes

Charm is a common tool of Enchanters, who have a number of distinct yet interrelated spells to produce charm effects of varying degrees. It is also a common effect produced by Fiends and Fey, whether as intentional magic or as an everpresent aura of their personalities. Fuccubi and the Dearg-Due, for instance, both charm their victims as a part of their hunting process.
