Chainguard's Gauntlets

Chainguard's Gauntlets are specially enchanted gauntlets issued to all Chainguards alongside their Chainguard's Scythe. They are steel gauntlets painted mostly red, with gold-plated edges and a gold bulette painted in the center, the crest of the Chain of Charon.
The gauntlets are imbued with enchantments that allow chainguards to cast several spells, primarily abjuration and enchantment spells useful for apprehending criminals and controlling crowds. They also have magical sigils inscribed in them that allow their wearer to be tracked easily from the headquarters of the Chain. Anyone foolish enough to steal the gauntlets from a chainguard they have incapacitated or killed is quickly tracked down by that guard's colleagues, unless the thief is careful to encase them in lead, store them in an extradimensional space, or otherwise shield the gauntlets from this detection magic.
