Callalilly Oakenheart (born 23 September Y1086) is a Halfling Wizard and seventh-year graduate student studying transmutation at the Wizarding University of the Aquatic Kingdoms.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Callalilly is an average-sized halfling woman, standing at around 3'6" tall, with pale skin, blue eyes, and thick, curly, golden blonde hair that hangs down to her mid-back. She walks surprisingly fast.
Apparel & Accessories
Callalilly follows Cantonovan fashion trends closely. She dresses more formally than average for a wizarding student, since she gravitates towards dresses with frilly or flowing skirts and sparkly jewelry. Her outfits are always heavily color-coordinated and usually feature her signature shade of robins-egg blue. She is rarely, if ever, seen without her blue topaz Earrings of Spell Storing and her round silver Eyeglasses.
Specialized Equipment
In every situation, Callalilly seems to have a pen and notebook handy as soon as they are needed. She also always seems to have a dagger or knife stashed somewhere on her person (though this comes up much less frequently in an academic setting).

Personal history
Callalilly was raised by her aunt Lydia Oakenheart in Cantonova from the age of seven. She was born in Breughelland, but neither she nor Lydia have maintained contact with her birth parents (Lydia's brother and his first wife).
Callalilly is a transgender woman who transitioned shortly after leaving Breughelland as a child. She cites her early experiences with transition magic as pivotal in her decision to become a Transmuter.
Education
Callalilly is a transmutation major in her seventh year of study at the Wizarding University of the Aquatic Kingdoms. At 16, she was the youngest halfling ever admitted to the school, and passed her fourth-year convocation with the highest marks of anyone in her class. Post-graduation, she intends to earn a master's degree in faeroxology; she is already fielding acceptance offers from several schools, most notably Hildegard University.
Employment
Callalilly works as the transmutation department graduate assistant for Dr. Lucretia Britt, her longtime mentor. She has taught several of Dr. Britt's courses during her lengthy sabbatical, including Transmutation 101/102 and Advanced Battle Tactics.
Intellectual Characteristics
Callalilly Oakenheart is extroverted, friendly, talkative, and exceedingly intelligent. She naturally gravitates towards leadership roles when she feels her expertise would be helpful in these situations, and she is always quick to brainstorm or suggest ideas to those in doubt. She tends to be less successful at handling situations in her personal life quite so quickly or deftly as she does managing anything academic or strategic, though.

Family Ties
Lydia ("Aunt Lydia" to Callalilly) was a single 25-year-old carpenter's apprentice when she adopted her niece. Because of this, several of Lydia's close friends helped to raise Callalilly in various ways; she sees them as an extended network of "aunts" and considers them family. Several of the "aunts" are well-known influential Cantonovans, such as royal spymaster Gepopo and the troubadour Caecïle.
