Hide-behinds are a specific type of eyebright known for their tendency to lure their prey while mostly obscured by trees, bushes, rocks, etc. They use a combination of their indistinct outline and their limited mimicry to lure their victims.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Hide-behinds are quick to pick up on sounds that draw in victims, although they rarely learn more than one sound. Most common is the word "hello", often sounding like a panicked or injured adult or a friendly child.
