Eyebright

Eyebrights are family of cryptids recognized by their glinting eyeshine and little else.

Anatomy

Though highly debated, it is unlikely that eyebrights have much of a physical form, even though the spacing of their eyeshine and the shadowy form sometimes glimpsed gives hints of what it might look like.

The horrible truth is that eyebrights seem to be formed from something left behind by eyebright victims.

Eyebrights are only found in the Weird Wilds.

Dietary Needs and Habits

All eyebrights feed off intelligent humanoids by luring them to their doom. Often some form of mimicry is used to tempt the victim into following them. Eyebright-caused deaths are often attributed to other natural causes, such as long falls, hypothermia, exposure, or animal attacks.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

It is suspected that eyebrights have excellent hearing and night vision, or perhaps even have some extra sense that leads them to living, lost souls.
