This era was the beginnings of the church, from the first idea in Hareth Stormborn's mind to the final stone placed to complete The Church. This era was full of war and famine.
The golden era was an amazing transformation from the war as it had been for centuries past. In this era, peace took its reign at the hand of the first four High Priests.
The church has finally been built and peace can hopefully begin to encompass the world.
With Brouder Nummor's death, Tarth Hammerbreaker becomes his successor. Hammerbreaker's death also signifies the end of the Golden Era.
After stained glass was invented in 675, the Church was quick to add it to its buildings.
The High Priest title slipped into an era of death and pain for the city of Serrano and the rest of the country of Aralencia.
With Tarth Hammerbreaker's death, Stanek Fullfang I becomes his successor. Stanek Fullfang I's accession also signified the beginning of the Dark Era.
Stanek Fullfang I was a paranoid individual. With the help of the King of Serrano, the Dragon Knights were born.
With the presumed death of Stanek Fullfang I, Stanek Fullfang II becomes his successor.
It's said it was the lack of upkeep that led to the north portion of the Church to burn, but some think it could have been a (lost) message to Fullfang II...
With the death of his father Stanek Fullfang II, Stanek Fullfang III becomes his successor.
In a whirlwind of events, the High Priest of the Dragons was murdered in the Church.
The Fullfangs had been removed from power and their surviving family had been run out of Aralencia for good. The Redemption Era was a time when the damages caused over the last two hundred years would hopefully be reversed and forgiven.
With Stanek Fullfang III's death, Galdom Cossul becomes his successor. Galdom Cossul's accession also signified the beginning of the Redemption Era.
It was seen as the best idea to place the best and wisest of those within the sects into the place of High Priest. An unfortunate side effect of this is that over the next sixty-three years there would be sixteen High Priests.
Realizing the ever expanding Church, Rajeo Bazdahr built the crypts beneath the main building to hold the High Priests who had died.
With Na Kin's resignation and the death of the Fluke Priest, it was decided the runner-up in the election would take over the High Priest's position. This position was titled Pochenpriest from the Draconic for "following".
In the winter of 990 the eighteenth High Priest Buere Juundum II died. His funeral was held at his family's farm in Quillwatch and was overseen by the current High Priest and his son- Buere Juundum III. The bells rung eighteen times in remembrance and many workers in the church were in attendance.
After Gruldath Alpenflow's death, the Pochenpriest Lugeran Morric becomes his successor.
In the year 997 the seventeenth High Priest Agrel Bov died. His funeral was held at the Church and overseen by the current High Priest- Genro Wrancan. It can be noted that this funeral was one of the few things Wrancan accomplished during his nine month tenure. The bells rung seventeen times in his remembrance.
After the death of Elfir Ralderan, Pochenpriest Genro Wrancan becomes his successor.
In the summer of 1000, the fifteenth High Priest Na Kin died. He was remembered for the large amounts of good he did in his short tenure for the city of Serrano. His funeral was held at the Church and was overseen by the current High Priest- Ilican Crag. The church bells rung fifteen times in his remembrance.
High Priest Persal's murder was a shocking attack on the Church and the end of an odd era in the Church's history.
A short era, but just nearly half as long as the era prior to this. This era is a dark mark on the Church's history as the gnome Thonus Malnir attempted to seize the position for good.
Change has swept over the entire world and Aralencia is in uproar as a battle among the major houses each vie for new territory over the country. An uncertain era, the Church is seen as a stronghold. More and more citizens turn to religion and the High Priests of this era were forced to stay strong and fight to stay neutral in an increasingly polarized climate.
With the death of Thonus Malnir and the destruction of the Church, Hordain Daerdal was elected to the position of High Priest.
In the year 1042 the nineteenth High Priest Buere Juundum III died. The city held a nineteen minute moment of silence in lieu of bells ringing as the church's bells had very recently been destroyed. His funeral was held at his family's farm in Quillwatch and was overseen by the current High Priest- Hordain Daerdal.
Early in the year, the 11th High Priest Denki Fuukheb died. The city held an 11 minute moment of silence in lieu of church bells ringing as the bells were destroyed only a couple of years prior. The funeral was held at the Serrano castle and was overseen by the current High Priest Hordain Daerdal.
With the death of Hordain Daerdal, Thurgar Baermyr was elected to the position of High Priest.
Late in the year, the fourteenth High Priest, Zenvarth Bonetrapper died. His funeral was overseen by the current High Priest- Hormun Emdir. The bells of the church rung fourteen times in remembrance. His funeral was to be held at the Church, but his family requested it be done in his hometown of Serros, which was done.
In the middle of summer in 1108 the twenty-first High Priest Lugeran Morric died. The city held a twenty-one minute moment of silence in lieu of bells ringing. The Church bells would not be completed for another sixty years. His funeral was held in the partially rebuilt Church and was overseen by the current High Priest- Galkum Bardor. This funeral was one of the largest in the city's memory as it was the first time the Church had been open to the public since its destruction.
