Argas Dineth III of House Montel was born to Argas Dineth II of House Montel and Melayne Froshe. Argas II was a lord over the southern corner of Aralencia. On a trip to Serrano he met Melayne, a local innkeeper. After a secret trist over the course of the following months, Melayne became pregnant. Though Argas II did not return to see the child, Melayne was never in need for anything.
As Argas III grew up he took the name Melano Green, the bastard name of Aralencia. He was a small child and bullied through his younger and teenage years. Argas took comfort in religion and found solstice in the Obsidiones. Over the course of the next twenty years he dedicated his life to the Obsidian Dragon and quickly rose through its ranks to the title of Major Priest of the Obsidion at the age of 38. He is the youngest person to ever hold the title. At his coronation for Major Priest his father was in attendance and as a show of honor, he was given the title of III and House Montel to remove his bastard title. From this point forward, he went by his birth name.
At the age of 50, he was placed into the running for High Priest of the Dragons. Being a man who had always held open his hand to anyone who needed assistance and was a strong proponent of the people throughout the kingdom, he won the title with ease. He is the first Obsidiones to hold the title of High Priest.
