With Stanek Fullfang III's death, Galdom Cossul becomes his successor. Galdom Cossul's accession also signified the beginning of the Redemption Era.

Galdom Cossul - Human - Topaziones

When Galdom Cossul murdered Stanek Fullfang III the Major Priests were unsure what to do for many reasons. Firstly, Fullfang III had no male heir and further did not speak of who he would prefer to be his successor. Secondly, should Cossul be tried and executed for murdering a High Priest even though said Priest may have been a murderer? After much delegation and heated conversations it was decided that the six Major Priests and the sixty Minor Priests would elect one person from each sect and as a group would elect a new High Priest. How the sects decided on their candidates was left to each sect to decide.   In an odd turn of events, three of the six sects elected Cossul as their candidate despite him being a Topaziones and not a member of any of their sects. Cossul was fully elected later that year and accepted on the condition that the Major Priests acted as a cabinet to him in all delegation. The Church was without a High Priest for nearly three years.   Cossul was considered a decent ruler and far superior to his predecessors. Cossul was incredibly neutral and left many decisions to be hashed out among the sects themselves with his judgments coming in the form of a clean 50/50 split. Cossul ruled for forty years before dying of old age.
