When the changelings fought back against the Warforged to free themselves from slavery (unfortunately still present in society today) they claimed the crystal dagger held by the army general at the time. This dagger was taken as a sign of the Warforged's defeat and the changelings victory.
The changelings use this dagger in the ceremony held from the 23 Holly to the 25 of Holly. (The time when they declared their freedom) They use it to skin the unicorns for the unicorn spit they hold during the festival. (Just one small component of the gigantic feast)
This dagger is otherwise stored in the current ruling kings thrown. There is a slit at the back in which the dagger is inserted. They keep it as a trophy of their victory over their advisaries

Raw materials & Components

The blade is made from the battle leaders grandmother as she had Crystal Overgrowth. Her grandson took a piece of her inner crystals and forged this dagger out of it. The hilt of the blade is mainly constructed from volcanic rock with accents made from gold.
