Warforged

Found in the North East of Ombitrium lies the land of Vesuvula. The main city where the warforged are found is the city of Krytilstat.

(DISCLAIMER: My version of the warforged are different from those seen n the DnD world)

The warforged are beings made of stone now come to life. Not much is known of their origins as they moved in to Ombitrium from a faraway land. They were once friended by the humans of Breace, but after the Juniper slaughter, peace is fleeting. They still have trades with Maalta and are working on a peace treatywith them. They now trust the people of Maalta.

These are the seven main houses, slight variations and smaller names also exist

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

The major language spoken is (surprising) dwarven, and it is believed that this is because the dwarves might have been the warforged creators

Culture and cultural heritage

They are an aggressive, angry people. They are slow trust, but loyal once it is gained. They are the most technologically advanced out of the 5 nations and are most prone to war. If you don't accept their customs or gifts or ideals. they feel the need to start war against those who disagree. They earned many parts of their land through war against Breace and Tedepris

Common Etiquette rules

They are rather barbaric race. They observe rather hands on etiquette when it comes to food, but it is a very happy, hearty environment

Common Dress code

They wear armor most days, they struggle when it comes to the finer fabrics and delicate clothing

Art & Architecture

Their architecture seems orchish in build, but has a slightly more dwarven flare to it.
Their art is celebrated through their weapons. They have elegant carvings on their blades and gemstones in their hammers and axes. They have monthly competitions to see who has created the most beautiful weapon. Some warforged spend years working on a single blade to enter into these competitions. The winners of the competition have the priviledge of their weapon being used by the army generals or even the war lord himself.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

1. Any brawl or argument started between two warforged must be settled through a simple arm wrestling competition
2. Each year the woman (who wish to participate) will battle until one is standing, she will be named the war lord's spouse
3. Each family specializes in a certain material(s). When the child/children of the house reach a certain age they must learn the ways of the forge
4. Weapons are cared for at least twice a day (sharpening, re-wrapping hilt, polishing blade ect.)
5. Weekly meals will be held with the entire of each family name

Coming of Age Rites

When the child of a household reaches the age of 16 they learn the ways of their families forge. For example, the Moonstone family specializes in glass armor, moonstone weapon (ect,)

If a child reaches the age of 20 without finding a bride/groom, they are forced into an arranged marrige that best suites the family name

Funerary and Memorial customs

The warforged are lowered into the dragons trough when they die, releasing their spirits back into the earth's core

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

In the warforged community, the striongest women is considered to be more attractive. There is an annual battle that the women hold where they battle until one of them yields. The last woman standing is named the current war generals spouse.
If you are in one of the top 3 families (wealth) you are also considered more attractive.

Courtship Ideals

The court of the warforged believe in heterosexual marriage. They do, unfortunately, have a very negative view on homosexual marriage which is punishable by hard labor in prison

Relationship Ideals

It is believed that the man is stronger than the woman in a relationship, but all detail, secrets (ect) have to be discussed with eachother to ensure a loyal, open relationship
