Cita Coru

One of the final cities to crash into Ceren, little is left of Cita Coru beyond desolate ruins. For an unknown reason, there is no central area of this city, with most ruins being only a few buildings at most and scattered across vast distances. Scholars speculate that some large event caused Coru to explode before it crashed, hence it's current state. Beyond this, little is known about this city, save it's name and scattering bits of history taken from other cities. This lack of knowledge, coupled with it's desolate nature and lack of an identifying product or trade, has solidified Cita Coru as a baffling quandary that Citan historians have never been able to answer.

Purpose / Function

Due to the nature of it's ruined state, little is known about the productions made by Cita Coru. Historians agree that each fallen city had some primary product it produced (such as Arma's firearms or Vola's ships), but no one product has been identified for Coru. In addition, the lack of a proper layout or scale of the city means that little can be learned from the ruins.
However, one consistency to be found is the increased presence of Deviants. While they are found in multiple cities, they seem to congregate more in ruins identified to be from Cita Coru. This has lead some to hypothesize that Coru is the source for these creatures, as they could be the remnants of Citan experiments. Others believe that the destroyed nature of Coru has spread arcanite miasma over much greater distances, resulting in the mutations being more common in it's vicinity. In any case, these are speculations at best and guesses at worst, with no one idea being considered true.

Alterations

Of all the Citan ruins, Cita Coru has remained mostly the same as it was when it crashed, primarily due to the fact that it was ruined upon crashing.

Architecture

While the observable architecture resembles other Citan constructions, it is impossible to know how large Cita Coru was, what architectural cues it had, or even what it looked like. Most of the ruins have either crumbled into piles of boulders or been reduced to unusable pieces of wreckage by the time spent in the area, so very little is known.
