Ambidextrous and regularly shambles, somewhat like a zombie
Apparel & Accessories
He wears the blue armored cloth attire of the school he attended, stitching it up and constantly repairing it. He has however since tossed away his old helmet in favor of a custom carved animal mask, which he frequently switches out, though usually it is a deer.
Specialized Equipment
The masks he wears are specifically imbued with ancient natural power from the land, having learned the technique from the Nature's Order, his masks only provide him power as he swears an oath of secrecy to all but his close allies. Any creatures seeing his face or knowing his name and being able to connect it to his mask removes the power, having him make a new oath.

Personal history
Oswald was the youngest of his three siblings, and looked up to Calvin, the eldest son. All three were born to the Golden Tyrant, King Kregent Kirk, and all three were blessed by the heavens due to being from the Golden Bloodline. At a young age, Oswald was immediately put to training to enter in as either the Royal Guard, or the rightful successor to King Kirks throne. Oswald, unlike his brothers, was not extremely gifted with the power of gold that his father passed down onto them. He did not shine with radiance like Calvin or Alfred did.
Due to this, Oswald regularly did not pay attention to his studies, nor did he try for the Royal Guard. Instead, he snuck out whenever possible to the shores of Willow Heights, scaling down the cliffs as often as he could to study under a reclusive spellcaster he found, one who only went by the name of Luna. She took Oswald under her wing and taught him what she knew, and he mastered her magic in no time, honing his "other self" to perfection and learning this strange magic he was gifted in, as opposed to being gifted with the Golden Lineage. He learned fast and in time, was able to fight as two versions of himself at once. This, however, didn't go without notice by his father, noticing that Oswald had been slacking in his studies. His father began to take notice of his absences and sneak outs after Calvin ran from home, leaving just Oswald and Alfred with their father, resulting in his grasp on them tightening and becoming far more strict than he ever was.
With Calvin's absence, and Alfred's manic disposition to potentially becoming the next in line to be king, King Kirk decided that fate would fall upon Oswald, and so his lessons and punishments grew even more strict, but Oswald toughed them out for years. He studied well, trained with the guard and in his fathers eyes, became everything he could have ever wanted him to be, but he hated the way his life was shaping and hated what his noble bloodline was becoming due to his father, so he made a plan to get away.
With him being unable to return to Luna and study under her due to his fathers oppressive eye, he made plans with another wizard, an aquatic humanoid, half octupus wizard by the name of Elysia, who he had met as a study buddy in Hollowcairn in a library. The two grew close quickly, sharing in their mutual fondness for the mystic arts and eventually grew even closer, becoming just a bit more than friends.
The two made a plan to help Oswald escape safely from his father while Oswald kept up the guise of being his perfect heir. The tipping point for Oswald and what led him to finalize his escape was his fathers promise of an arranged marriage, not being keen on marrying somebody who he didn't like and the fact he grew a fondness for Elysia. So a month before the wedding was supposed to take place, Oswald fled from his father and from the Fractured Isles entirely.
Oswald fled far away with Elysia, taking refuge with her family for a couple of years as eventually the two got married. Oswald swore an oath to Elysia, that he would protect her always as the two adventured around and shared in their love and study of magic.
The two adventured together for several years, eventually ending up in the Fractured Isles once more shortly after King Kirk's death in search of an old artifact belonging to an ancient elemental demigod named Zaxus. The search led them directly to the artifact, but it also led a band of raiders from the north who worshipped Folsir to the artifact as well, and a battle ensued. Oswald took down a lot of them, but was ultimately overwhelmed and killed in battle, the raiders imprisoning Elysia and taking his body with them.
Oswald, like his father and brothers however, was not content dying in such a way and after some time woke up in a mass grave deep in the Dru'grar expanse, his body now scarred and mended by silver cracks all along his skin. In addition, his death caused his wings to decay slightly leaving him flightless, no longer touched by his angelic lineage. Even with all this, he immediately set out to find Elysia.
He tracked the raiders to a prison and castle deep in the frozen tundra. He tried many ways to get in but was stumped, so he sat on a cliff outside what he thought was the prison entrance and took a moment to meditate, thinking on how he'd get through the fortified walls and guards.
His prayers were answered when a strange, goopy portal appeared out of thin air and a pirate, goblin, and lionman stepped through it with an undead bear filled with explosives, blowing open the wall to the prison for him. They did not seem hostile to him so he joined them without another word on their raid of Folsir's castle to find Elysia, who was luckily unharmed and safe in her prison cell.
After the attack on Folsir's castle and the escape, Oswald felt slightly indebted to the strange crew for helping him save Elysia, so he and Elysia took the time to travel with them, uncovering more secrets about the ancient elemental demigods.

Education
Oswald was given entry into the Kirdrane College of Mystic Arts at an extremely young age and was enlisted into training with the Kirk Royal Guard. In addition to being given these prestigious opportunities, he studied under a powerful, reclusive wizard.
During his time in the Royal Guard he was mainly taught the ways of being a battlefield tactician unlike his older brother Alfred, due to the differences in their physical strength and ability to call upon their bloodline.

Mental Trauma
Oswald suffers from PTSD due to his fathers abuse, flinching anytime he sees a claw of any sort as it reminds him of his fathers armor as he never actually saw his father outside of it, only ever seeing his father on business terms.
Intellectual Characteristics
While his magic and studies within magical fields is lacking, Oswalds awareness of a battlefield is where he shines, having been top of his class when training with the Kirk Royal Guard.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Oswald's drive in the world is his study, trying to figure out the source of all the different types of magic that flow through the lands and figure out why his bloodline has been granted immortality. In addition, he wishes to see the Kirk bloodline stray as far away from the tyrant that is Kregent Kirk and become good, proper people.
