Nature's Order

The enigmatic masked vigilantes and protectors who follow in the teachings and edicts of the original Order of Ten.

Structure

The Nature's Order are a very loosely collected and organized group, existing all over the world and bound only by their sworn oath to the Order of Ten and the Edicts they have set.

They do not follow a traditional structure due to no centralized building, headquarter or even country of operation, simply existing as an idea.

Culture

Members of the Nature's Order are never actually seen by the public as members, living an alternate life due to the oath they take up. When just in society, they are people, perhaps wizards, perhaps swordsmen, the person behind the mask does not matter to members of the Nature's Order.

When they don the mask, a source of their magical powers acting as a conduit between them and the original Order of Ten, they keep their identity behind it secret from all except those who were already aware the person was making an oath to become a member. Should they fail to keep this secrecy, the magic in the masks inscriptions falters and fades away, the Nature's Order member needing to craft a new mask of a new animal, take up a new oath, and start from scratch.

Public Agenda

Members of the Nature's Order act as vigilantes, protectors, and caretakers of the people and land. Depending on which of the Ten they follow they may decide to do things differently but it always funnels down to the same thing.

Take care of the people.

Take care of the land.

Strike down any who would harm the natural order of life.

Assets

The only item related to a member of the Nature's Order is their mask, carved and created by themselves or another member of the Nature's Order who may be recruiting them, it is fashioned in the shape of an animal that is dear to the wielder.

The mask is then painted on with druidic symbols and the interior inscribed in various magic languages personal to the wielder, acting as their conduit for magic and tying the wielder to one of The Ten.

History

The Nature's Order formed after the fall of the Order of Ten, who fell one by one during the Ancient Culling that Rylbray performed to bring about the Grey Age. The Order of Ten were part of the direct assault against the Eclipse Lord with a band of other heroes and were the ones to open the path to Rylbray, however during this battle they all fell one by one to the overwhelming power of the Eclipse Lord, the only one still alive, Lady Livingston, Hawk Aspect, went into hiding gravely injured as she now rests in the center of Karica's woods.
Lady Livingston is the one who formed the Nature's Order after Rylbray's defeat in memory of her fallen brothers and sisters. She appointed the first masked warriors to protect Karica and its people during the Grey Age, a time of great uncertainty amongst humanity, and from there the order spread to what it is today.
Many consider Livingston Village, a well protected and secluded village deep in Karica's woods to be their homebase, but many go there just to pay remembrance to the Order Of Ten and Lady Livingston herself.
