Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Lady Livingston in her eternal dream-like trance has let her body be taken completely over by nature, she rests on the ground covered in bark, leaves and moss. The bark itself has solidified over the years around her to give her a nearly impenetrable outer shell.

Special abilities

While she cannot move, Lady Livingston's mental powers are heightened, she regularly appears in the dreams and thoughts of those within the area, using it as a way to communicate.

The wandering animated armor in the woods are also a result of this, being a direct extension of her and her will.

Personal history

Lady Livingston was once just a regular human, living on the outskirts south of the Maarifan Nebula, bordering on the great southern jungle. She was born an extremely skilled druid she wandered the world during the Age of Giants as a roaming healer, helping those sickly and in need of aid.

During her travels she met up with likeminded individuals, a group of skilled warriors, druids and mages just like her, a group who formed in the like minded idea of helping others and protecting the ones who couldn't protect themselves. They each took an oath to each other, to never stray or falter from their path and to always help each other and with this oath they formed the Order of Ten, each taking up the aspect of a different animal that spoke to them.

Lady Livingston took on the Aspect of the Hawk, birds in general spoke to her as she was physically weak unlike her allies, yet observant and acted as a tactician for the Order of Ten. The ten of them roamed the lands and acted as guardians, jumping from town to village to city and striking down any evildoers in their path.

Everything changed one fateful day when Rylbray, the Lord of the Eclipse, began his plan, the Culling of the Ancients and bringing about the Grey Age. The first Eclipse began and heroes all over the land, including the Order of Ten knew what had to be done, Rylbray had to be put down. The Order of Ten gathered up with a bunch of other noble heroes to lead the fight directly to Rylbray, the Order of Ten being the direct frontline against his manifested shadowy forces.

The siege against the Eclipse Lord was going well up until the ascent up the Tree of Aldarus, where his forces and darkness got so overwhelming that the Order began faltering and Lady Livingston saw her closest allies begin to fall one by one. They all fought valiantly and opened a path towards Rylbray that the other heroes could exploit, but Lady Livingston was the last of the Order to live. After the battle she weakly traveled to a place the Order visited frequently, an abandoned village deep inside the autumn woods of Karica, and there she rested eternally, the land itself claiming her and turning her hair, skin and entire body into the very woods and lands itself.

As she dreamt she communicated with any who would come visit her telepathically and through their dreams, some even stayed with her in that village to keep her company. Some specifically seeked her out during the Grey Age, as they had heard tales of the fall of the Order of Ten and how one survived deep in Karica's woods. She took this as an opportunity to fulfill the final wishes of the Order's lead, Uraishrin, The Bull, and create a following of likeminded individuals who followed in the tenets of the Order of Ten.

To this day she remains eternally dreaming in Karica's woods, occasionally bestowing the title of Masked Warrior to more individuals who seek her out. She has since grown larger and is now known as the Heart of the Woods, utilizing the armor and weapons of warriors who fall in Karica to protect the lands and Livingston Village, as it is now known.
