Sacred abilities

Of all Niril priests in Tetriarchy of Kritmorc, the sorcerer-priest is most revered. Blessed by the gods to possess mystical abilities, a sorcerer-priest's duty is not tied down to a single temple, but to all three. As one of the most holy of priests of all three deities, sorcerer-priests are privy to theological knowledge unknown to most. While their duty, like all other priests, is to guide the country and its people on their holy path to Qar Albar, their knowledge and abilities makes them capable of doing so in the most singular of ways. They are well equipped to protect the country against sacrilegious threats, advance sacred development and lead the country into a new age through wonders.

Wonders

Throughout history, sorcerer-priests have pulled off many wonders that have aided the country in great ways. They prevented the capital city Zalbah-At from slipping into the waters of the Zalbah-Baz. They cleansed Ruby Lake when all fish suffered from scale rot preventing famine. They uncovered the true meanings of the Lost Words. And they have fought Darkness for as long as it threatens the night, and continue to do so today still.
The most recent wonder was the reinvention of golems by the great sorcerer-priestess Johana Tehanar. Because of her unique position as priestess of Dinmeyr, Calveyr and Queyr, she was able to delve into the past (a blasphemous act when performed by anybody but a priest of Dinmeyr), excavate, research and activate the ancient constructs (rights granted to her as a priest of Calveyr), and ensure their use as a tool in the last and future wars with their enemies (set by law as a priest of Queyr.) The golems proved crucial in the recent war with the Empire of Garyiala and prevented more human lives from being lost.
