Foundation of Daqin

Founding

According to traditional histories it was in this year that the Orichalcum Emperor founded the first dynasty of Daqin.

According to oral histories the Orichalcum Emperor was a man hewn from the rock of the earth itself, whereas lesser men are formed from clay. His voice caused the mountains to tremble and men to bow. He saw that the peoples of the Daqin plains were beset by drought and wild fires. In his benevolence the Emperor though as of yet uncrowned struck the Highlands glaciers with his burning flail carving great furrows in their surface and pitting the grounds around them with deep wells. Water bubbled up from those furrows and wells to spill down on the Daqin plain, running together to create the Olm river.   For this great deed all peoples of Daqin hailed him King of Kings and lay prostrate at his feet.
