As Elven society became less nomadic, the city of Fairfalls became a more logical capital than Crystal Lake.

As many Elven populations began settling into less nomadic lifestyles, the city of Crystal Lake was no longer the most convenient gathering place of the Elven community. Instead, Fairfalls offered a more central location that could sustain a larger permanent residence.
