Fairfalls
Geography
Built on a plateau at the western base of Windsong mountains, it incorporates the namesake waterfalls into its layout. The city's upper district and Royal Palace rest on the plateau with a ring of low walls at the bluff's edge. The bluffs are sharply sloped, but not sheer cliffs, about thirty meters tall, and lightly covered by trees and hardy shrubs. The waterfalls flow along the base of the bluff, forming a moat that converges and flows away from the city as the Illashal river. The lower district spreads out on either side of the river's banks, connected to the other parts of the city by bridges both over the river and up to the top of the bluffs. The lower district is ringed by high walls that include a river gate. Outside the walls, additional residence spread out into the surrounding countryside, concentrating along the river and north along the base of the mountains.
