Crestwall

The Grand Capital. Crestwall has been the seat of power for the rise and fall of several empires. Previously the Denesari Empire , and now the Drasillian Empire. The home base of the special task force Arbiters and the Order of the White Rose since the exile of the Dragon Knights of the Denesari Empire. The Arbiters are given tasks that the Emperor decrees and range from investigations, to deciding (and resolving) local disputes, to assassinations. The Order of the White Rose is divided into several categories and where those that decide to continue their service to the Emperor move on to after compulsory conscription service. A graduate of the Martial school moves onto the Knights of the White Rose, while a farmer would move onto the Yeomen of the White Rose. Given the nationalism promoted heavily within the borders this is seen as a noble and proud life path.
Life in the capital is some of the safest in the entire world as far as external threats go. The nobles live a lavish life of importing exotic goods from Yid-Zafar , Syca , and Bymoor  The current Emperor, Drasil the 2nd, has followed his father and grandfathers reign of ruthlessly defaming the Dragon Knights of the past and blaming them for the fractured nature of the empire today. His eyes are ever set on reuniting the north of the continent under his banner. This fear drives nationalism among the subjects and stokes the fire of their passion for war.
