Syca

They say you'll never see a city in Novaura quite as peculiar as Syca, nor as interesting. The founding of Syca was unlike any other in known history. During the war of the Denesari Emipre and the Tetheas Dynasty there came a great and terrible calamity now known as The Tear. The effect of this reverberates throughout Novaura to this very day. The great rifts that open usually bring no more than a flash of color now, but back then, and rarely to this day they can bring through people, artifacts, even entire buildings.
So goes the founding of Syca. Races new to Novaura with no community of their own wandered the world until they found a home in Syca. A blending of cultures from countless planes they open their ports and doors to all peoples who feel displaced by the world. Despite the harsh perpetual winter of the surrounding Eizen Wilds they make the best of their situation and rarely make waves outside of their own border.
