Bola's Farm and Wayhouse
Just outside of the central southern gate of Lochdomhan, you see a small farmstead pushed against the city walls. Set amid the gardens and fields, you spot several low stone buildings, one of which flies the flag of the Bastion Imperium.
This small farm is owned by Bola. But she doesn’t sell much at market. She earns a small stipend from the Bastion Empire to maintain a wayhouse for guards that patrol the Imperial Road. She likes to meet travellers and trade news and stories. Officially the wayhouse is for the exclusive use of agents of the Bastion Imperium
The wayhouse is fully stocked with rations, water, and beer that Bola brews. She’ll also bring out fresh vegetables and fruit for visitors, in accordance with the season. Up to twelve guards can bunk down inside, though it would be very cramped.
Purpose / Function
Although the Wayhouse is officially not for public use, Bola is known to rent out the room when there are no Imperial agents in town. If available, Bola rents beds out for 1 gp each. Food is included and anyone sleeping there receives the sated and the rested boon.
At any given time there is a 60% chance of 1d12 Imperial or Kalisandrian scouts stationed at the Wayhouse.
