Adepts

Adepts are those very rare individuals that can access magic without any aid at all. One reason they are so rare is that many die before they are old enough to understand what is happening. They touch this power even in infancy, and are capable of causing much destruction, usually thier own. Some do survive long enough to learn how to control this. These are the very powerful. They have live with magic in their grasp for all thier lives. They have an understanding of it like no other user of it could. It is as much a part of them as breathing is to you or I. There are mages who would hunt them down, just to find out how they do what they do.
