Gardeelia
The Gardeelia was the Beast of Eternal Mercy that inhabited the botanical fields in the Ciones region of Veilra. In appearance, it resembled an slim eel twenty feet long and capable of swimming through the air as if it were water. The Gardeelia's skin constantly bloomed with foliage and blossoms of all kinds that it shed wherever it went. The plants that grew from its body were said to be the most lush and aromatic in all Ciones.
In order to receive a blessing from the Gardeelia, an individual was required to water the plantlife covering its body with their own tears.
The Gardeelia was one of the first Nohlish casualties in the War of Three Flames. Witnesses claim the snake-like Beast approached the first Demons who stepped through the interplanar portal and caused a carpet of golden lilies to grow at their feet. The Demons slew the Gardeelia, staining the flowers red with blood. The blood-stained lily would eventually become the symbol of the Nohlish Resistance.
