Undine
Undine is a marshy midworld. Hot and humid, the lowlands are only inhabitable by frog sankari who make up the vast majority of the population. Other human variants stay in cities in the scant highlands. Undine has the largest oil reserves in the Federation, and its economy relies on oil export.
The beduka-controlled company UDPE (Undine Domestic Product Export) supplies most of the Federation with fossil fuel.
Currently the world is controlled by the Terran Dictate.
Geography
Scattered small, shallow saltwater oceans feed vast areas of muddy marshes. Highlands cover a small portion of the surface.
Because of the high carbon-dioxide levels, the planet has an average temperature of 40 degrees Celsius in the lowlands. High humidity makes this extremely uncomfortable for non-beduka, who will die of heat stroke within hours without protection.
Ecosystem
In addition to imported Earth life, there are large amounts of primitive alien bacteria and algae beneath the world's marshes that have been on the planet for billions of years. This is the source of the world's oil and gas reserves.
