Nisha (Neesha)

Structure

The Monarch is both Head of Government and Head of State, but may delegate some powers to their heir, provided the heir is above 15 years of Age. The Noble Houses serve as the Monarch's Council of Ministers, being put in charge of various jobs within the country. The Legislative Branch is Bicameral, each with their own rules and methods of election, while the Judicial Branch is led by a Juror Exalt, the oldest serving Judge chosen by a Monarch.

However, in the younger populations, there has been a great stride toward individuality and the exploration of one's passion.

Public Agenda

Since the introduction of the UN and the end of World War 2 in 1945, there have been no territorial gains for the country, so much of the work has gone into improving the social and economic lives of Nishari Citizens. Recently, there has been a strong push for LGBTQ+ recognition in the country, as non-heterosexual marriage is outlawed and transgender people are not recognized.

Nisha's territories have not changed since 1917, with the inclusion of the Gujarati, Rajasthani, and Punjabi-speaking areas from the British during World War 1. The situation in the areas is now peaceful, with borders being broken down between Nisha and India to allow for free travel between families and individuals. Generally, Nisha's territories stretch from Armenian-speaking populations in the West to Punjabi-speaking populations in the East, as well as Russian-speaking populations in the North to Gujarati-speaking populations in the South.

Nationally, anyone born after October 31st must be in the same grade as those a year younger than them, the reasoning behind this being that, when these children are younger, their brains aren't as developed as those born earlier In the year, so, when school stars, they can't grasp the concepts offered by schools.
