Tehran Cricket Ground

Purpose / Function

This is one of the oldest cricket grounds in the country. Named after the Tehran suburb of Rayshahr it was constructed in, this is the home of the Rayshahri Banners, one of the men's domestic cricket teams. Additionally, the TCG is the secondary stadium of the Mazhandaran Cricket Team, one of the women's domestic cricket teams.

Tourism

This stadium is famous for being the location where the first Nishari Cricket Player to hit a century, Aryamama Gujrana, hit that maiden century. In order to honor him, a large statue has been built in his honor, and it attracts many visitors, especially during games.
