Veleria Material in Niorath | World Anvil

Veleria

Veria is a commonly used herb in Eastern Farlis and can be found in many Human dishes. Originally it came from the region around the Dagor in current Eprus but its uses soon spread further south and east. It is now even more common to find the herb in Varena as most cultivation of the herb happens there.   The plant itself requires a warmer climate and does not require much water making it very easy to cultivate. Once the leaves of the plant are large enough in size they are plucked, dried and finally grinded. This powder is then used in a variety of dishes. It has a bit of a salty taste with some notes of acidity making it quite a good addition in many dishes. Besides that it is also used as an ingredient in the Destarion sauce.
