And so the group set out once more, this time to the dangerous Silent Forest in the hopes of finding the Divine Golem. This would not be an easy endeavour as almost no expeditions return from this cursed land.
After setting their airship down at Kavaldri they asked around for anyone with some decent knowledge on the best paths to take in the forest. Almost everyone called them fools for trying to mount an expedition but one man gave some basic advice. He told them that it would be safest to travel along the north side of the forest and try to reach te rivers.
As soon as they started the group quickly noticed the otherworldly environment and most of all the eerie silence as if all life was gone. Once they travelled deep enough in the forest it became difficult to keep track of the passage of time as constant purple lightning storms blocked the sky.

Through dangerous lands

On their first day the adventurers did not encounter anything dangerous but they still couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. When they did not expect a lightning bolt came down and seemed to become a living being which attacked the group. This display of living magic made clear that the Silent Forest had its own set of rules. After emerging victorious the group had become weary of the weather above them.

During their rest the constant silence was suddenly broken by a loud howling. Not much after that the group was attacked by Chaos corrupted hounds which proved to be quite a challenge to defeat.

The day after the nightly attack things got even worse. The group was forced to take shelter during the day as a necrotic storm. Even while they shortly came into contact with the group quickly saw the powerful corrupting effects of the storm.
